The film absorbs energy from natural and artificial light, then releases a visible glow as surrounding light levels fall. Suitable charging light is essential to its performance.
The classification relates to the supplier's film. It is not a fire classification or certification of the complete printed sign assembly.
How the glow works
The photoluminescent face charges in suitable natural or artificial light and glows as light levels fall. Brightness gradually reduces after charging; performance depends on the charging light and surrounding conditions.
No wiring or batteries are needed. These signs do not replace any emergency lighting required for your building.
